I DO Remember Things When I Smoke

So I got really high... and got to thinking that I will never get sick of Give Up. I know everyone in the world loves the Postal Service, but they really truly mean a lot to me. One of my best friendships was started because we both were obsessed with the Postal Service. I remember buying the album at the end of my sophomore year... I was blown away. It made me happy, it made me sad, and it made me feel something that I can never explain. I remember sitting at my computer and Mike O'Malley playing "Nothing Better" something like 25 times in a row, both of us still loving it the 25th time. I don't know if I played any other albums that whole summer with the exception of De-Loused in the Comatorium.

I remember taking drives when I was sad and feeling alone... this album always comforted me.

I remember taking drives with Mike and not even talking during the ride because we just wanted to listen.

I remember falling in love with my ex-girlfriend to this album.

I remember having sex to this album.

Anything that I have done since I've owned Give Up, I've probably done with the company of Ben Gibbard, Jenny Lewis, and those wonderful beats.

Yes, yes... Everyone, EVERYONE, loves this album, but I just recently realized how good it's been to me.
