Experiencing a "Day Without Immigrants"

So I just experienced firsthand the "Day Without Immigrants" rally. I had heard about it though various news outlets in the past couple weeks, but it wasn't until I got off the train did I see the impact it had. Across the river on Jackson Boluevard there was a congregation of people so loud that it equated to the noise of some concerts I've been to. They went straight through where I was supposed to cross the street to get to the building. I thought I wasn't going to make it. This is good for the immigrant workers. Hopefully, the rest of America will wake up and do something about this.

Let the assault begin.

I wish I was an immigrant, so I could go fucking wild. I can speak, I can show my point of view, and I can inform... but I can't pretend I know what it is actually like. I have no experience.
